Rustic Firefighter Wedding in Nyack // Jessie + Lindsey

Jessie & Lindsey, both volunteer firefighters of the Central Nyack Fire Department, got married in a sweet, outdoor ceremony at the firehouse, surrounded by friends & family.

This wedding had so many handmade and personal details. Lindsey made the bouquets, her mom made the flower crowns, and Lindsey’s bridesmaid did her hair.

After getting all dolled up, Lindsey got into her wedding dress. The dress was sort of a “blank canvas” when they bought it and her mom beautified it by sewing on all the lace appliques, the beading on the back, and the lace trim on the bottom.

After both brides were finished getting ready, we headed over to their First Look location at the exact same spot where Lindsey proposed to Jessie. Doesn’t Jessie’s emotional reaction just tug at your heart strings??

After a sweet & teary first look, we headed over to the firehouse for their ceremony, officiated by a fellow firefighter!

Jessie’s brother Eddie’s speech had three hilarious zingers – 1) He found out one year during college that Jessie had hooked up with more girls than him. 😉  2) Both Lindsey & Jessie now get to play the “wife card” – for the rest of their lives, they both get to always be right! 3) They never have to worry about who left the toilet seat up. 😆

This wedding had so much infectious love and energy and was such a joy to photograph! <3 All the best, Jessie & Lindsey!
