Photographing Megan and Erik’s wedding felt extra special because 1) Megan and Erik feel like such kindred spirits, and 2) I got to shoot at my own wedding venue!! Paramount Country Club is my favorite venue (no surprise there) – you can’t beat the mountain views, beautiful stonework, fields of tall grasses, plus the food and the staff are top notch!  

The cottages are one of my favorite features at Paramount Country Club. The stone building contains a handful of rooms which are perfect for getting ready in prior to the wedding. The Juliet balcony on the north side of the building overlooks the ceremony garden. It was the perfect spot for Megan to get ready with her ladies while Erik got ready in the groom’s suite in the main building.

Their adorable dog Charlie got to join in for a few photos!

Hands down my favorite spot at Paramount is the ceremony garden. Megan and Erik got married at the top of the slope, with mountain views in the background and guests looking on from the sunken lawn.

Guests moved inside into the ballroom in the main building of the country club for a night of eating, drinking, and dancing.
