On the first day of December, Cynthia & Jon celebrated their marriage with a cozy, Christmas themed wedding at Normandy Farms in PA. Their three dogs even attended, decked in bowties and Christmas sweaters! 🎄 It was like a real-life Hallmark movie! 😉

Jon wrote Cynthia a letter in the journal they share together for her to read before heading down to their first look.

What a stunning Christmas bride!

I’m such a sucker for a strategically placed mistletoe. 😉 Cynthia & Jon hung a mistletoe outside the barn doors leading to their ceremony. As guests walked in, they stopped and kissed in the doorway. So cute!!

The highlight of the ceremony: instead of saying “I do,” Jon said “I gotchu”! 😂

Cynthia shared an emotional first dance with her father to two very special songs:

The first song we danced was the song my father picked for us called “Y cómo es el” (“What is he like?”). This song is about a man asking questions to find out who this man is that has taken from him a big treasure of his life. It meant a lot to my father because he was giving away his youngest daughter and although my sister is married he never had the chance to walk her down the aisle so this was his first time handing away his daughter.

My father and I are very close and although I know he has been waiting a long time to dance that song with me, I wanted to surprise him with what I knew meant even more to him which was dancing to my grandfather’s song. When my grandfather passed, we made a video of all the memories we shared and played this song, so since then, we have always called it “grandpa’s song”. Just the beginning words of the song brings us all to tears (“Viejo mi querido viejo, old man my dear old man…”) I also wanted to play it because now that my father is getting older I considered him my “old man”.
