The circumstances on Alyssa & Richie’s wedding day were “very 2020.” On top of being in the middle of a global pandemic, it rained the entire day, the bridge nearby was closed so the bride had to take a detour and arrived late, and they forgot to bring their marriage license. But everything worked out in the end! The groom’s brother raced to their house to bring the license and Alyssa & Richie were pronounced married exactly 2 minutes before the court closed! It even stopped raining long enough for us to get a few photos without an umbrella. Alyssa & Richie definitely proved that they’re a resilient couple that can make it through anything (and now they have a great wedding story to tell)!
After their short & sweet ceremony at Putnam Valley Town Hall, we headed over to Teatown Lake Reservation to take some portraits before finishing the night at X2O Xaviars on the Hudson in Yonkers.
Congratulations, Alyssa & Richie!!
